I was in a new grad program. I was notified that I need to leave on this Monday. Surprisingly, the feedbacks I received along the way on the most recent project (PIP) were all positive. (It was never stated as a PIP). Looked back in time, I realized a director did not see me very eye-to-eye. The whole PIP was just a process to get rid of me. I have asked my manager to help me understanding this situation better, which she never gave a clear warning. My total work experience is still under a year. I will be very appreciated if anyone could refer me into positions in non-tech PM, marketing and finance. I have master and bachelor degrees from top-tier universities plus various internships. Thank you for your time reading this. I wish you all have a happy holiday season without bad surprises!
What’s your director’s/manager’s name? How could they put you on PIP without actually telling you?
I think there’s no clearly written PIP procedures within the firm.
There are procedures for PIPs within Visa, but the HR dept is a joke. Curious who the manager is though.

DM for Roku if you are looking for referrals. Unclear if you want something from us or just sharing your experience.
Thank you for your support. I’m both sharing my experience and looking for referrals.
