Laid off from LinkedIn, disappointed in the leadership
Unfortunately I got impacted, my name is in the list. I found out about my layoff from Blind. Still waiting for official communication. We used to be such an amazing company. I would tell everyone about how awesome LinkedIn is and now the leadership has messed it up so bad. Things have been absolutely disastrous last year or so. Constant Reorgs, forced PIPs, top down projects with no impact. On one hand, I'm sad about leaving my colleagues, but otoh I'm happy about getting out of this shitshow run by clueless leadership. To anyone interviewing with LinkedIn, beware and please speak to an existing employee and learn about what it has become. Also check the pulse score of LinkedIn on Blind.

A way to access the layoff list was leaked on blind. Immediately HR deleted the list, but impacted people were still able to see it from history. Finally they shut down the entire tool.

Second this. I joined early last year the manager who hired me was awesome and then after Reorg, I moved managers. Things just went downhill for me from there. I was hired at L6, but was never given clear priorities to work on. I was excluded from most of the meetings and communication and became a executor of what I am told. So my annual review was not meets. And I was put in a PIP program, worked sleepless nights and came out. Now I am on the layoff list. I am contemplating sueing Linkedin management. I had 7 offers a couple of years ago. The choice of coming here completely destroyed my career. Now I have to find a job in 3-4 months, where two months will be in holiday season, since I am on H1. Don’t know if it’s worth it. Let’s see.
