I want the world to know that adobe is doing a lot of layoffs silently. To avoid paying severance, maintain fake image of a best employer and to make figma deal easy, they are doing silent layoffs. I had a long fight with erc and manager. They have even threatened me a lot so that I will not take it to any social media or start spreading this within adobe. Reason for firing as per adobe : performance Actual reason: incapable manager made the whole product to fail and he or she just want to make one person a scape goat (lot of politics and favoritism).. Manager is the most cruel and cunning person that I have ever met . I had multiple offers and made a huge mistake by choosing adobe. Manager said below points (felt worth Sharing) 1. Adobe have done a lot of layoffs and don't think you are alone here and lot of other people are there with you. 2. I had no option to save you.. I also have to follow company policies and objectives 3. We did layoffs earlier almost every year but this year count is more 4. I can understand how bad your situation is but this is what it is. Good luck for your future goals. What a bs company. I have a guilty feeling that I had referred many people here (luckily no one cleared or joined ). I am swe from India. I cannot share org details to avoid further issues.. Leave adobe and thank me later. I am saying this with a lot of pain and tears in my eyes. I am not exaggerating here. Wish no one ever faces these situations in their life. Wish economy improves and there will not be situations like this again. #adobe #microsoft #google
I agree with what you have to say Indian managers and companies in India are toxic and underpay workers while making them work like slaves It must be sad phase for you and also being depressed doesn't help, give it some time to heal P.G
Thanks for your kind words
I know you've been searching for a position for couple of months now did you find something that suits you?
Adobe India has the most toxic work culture. Some teams in DX are even worse than Amazon.
Similar experience, it sucks
Are you also laid off?
Engineer?
Which org and location?
