I am great chatting 1:1 with people and get fabulous feedback from recruiters but after interviews I just feel like a complete hack. Help! I’ve got 9 solid years in product, previous experience in marketing. I was just part of a rif at Verizon. I’ve worked in e-commerce grocery, wireless and most recently in Verizon’s private 5G/Industry 4.0 (supply chain/warehousing and logistics) incubator. I’ve done first round interviews at Meta, Charter and Kroger. None of which resulted in anything. On deck: Amazon AWS, another round with Kroger On top of it all I’m the sole provider for my family of 4. My husband is the SAHP with our two tiny kids (1 & 3), and I love our lifestyle so I need to find a great permanent position asap. TC $210 Base $145
What was your level at VZ? 7 or 6?
I was stuck at a band 7
Band 7 with 145k base? Wow! You got far! I'm sure you will find something soon.
Sorry to hear that. What do you get in response after your interviews? Did they give you any feedback?
No, both were recorded screenings with no feedback. I wish I’d gotten something!
Maybe practice with friends or former colleagues to see what you are missing. Seems like you have good experience. Great that you got passed resume part with these companies.
DM for atlassian if you see anything
Dm for Yahoo were hiring. Also dm to see if you want a mock session
Keep applying. At times it’s just a numbers game unfortunately.
What org are you in? My org has openings.. specifically a program manager role 6V I think. Verizon 5G Home segment Multi-Family deployment.
