Laid off or just looking to change jobs? DM for a referral to Atlassian

Some of you might have seen our recent stock performance which wasn't great. The good news is that the core business is still strong and the founders have complete say with layoffs and are continuing to hire on strong talent during these uncertain times. You'll also get a great grant price! We offer remote work and the best wlb you could ask for. Pay is getting more competitive as well. If you would like a referral or have any questions just DM me. For swes I can help with the process and what to expect. But any role or location is eligible for a referral. I've helped a lot of people get a job here and know some of the recruiters. If you don't hear back I'll follow up on your application as well NOTE: Please don't apply if you'd like a referral as this just duplicates work for the recruiting team. Check here for all our open roles: https://jobs.lever.co/atlassian?lever-via=9YQlqaK5QS Rough estimates for max bay area comp for SWEs is 340k for mid and 400k for senior. This will differ in lower COL areas. I've also seen higher offers even for very high value candidates. These would be out of band so I don't want to set that expectation though.

I submitted a few applications last week and haven't heard anything. What's the typical turnaround? A few companies have already got back to me, so I'm afraid I won't have a chance to interview if they're slow.

Generally within 2-3 weeks but submitting through the site sometimes they just get lost in the black box unfortunately

What's the outlook for the company after the huge drop in stock price recently

Atlassian DivisionSt OP Nov 8, 2022

Very good still. Our business isn't doing bad at all. The market is just in a rough place right now and growth companies are highly susceptible. Read our earnings report yourself but I believe it was a big overreaction. Layoffs aren't really a concern though because we still have 1.5b cash on hand, high free cash flow, and company control from our founders who led the company through the dotcom bubble (when it was founded) and the 08 crisis. When we come out of this recessionary phase I think Atlassian will be a big winner again. 5-10y horizon I believe in our founders vision to continue investing in growing the company in an intelligent way to make this a 100 year company eventually. It also helps we aren't fighting for competition, if anything we are able to take even more now percentage wise from our smaller competitors.
