I’ve been seeing job postings on LinkedIn for fintech companies offering TC ranges from 350k - 1.5m. Has anyone else seen or had experience with job postings like this and know if companies really offer TC like that? What kind of software stack would a Fintech need devs for? Mostly curious what I need to learn in order to land a job with that kind of TC.
If the companies aren’t public they are probably holding onto some sky high valuation that doesn’t reflect reality. Stock options are also worthless until and IPO or acquisition happens.
It's funny to see all these sky high TCs in shambles now that the market isn't returning 15% every year. Counting chickens before they hatch...
