Last second lane merger in heavy traffic
Do you find this annoying? I am waiting in line for 15+ minutes. There is these people merge in the very end. What should I say? I have to yield especially it’s big company bus
This is the right way of merging. Take up all the space on the available lane and merge when this lane ends. Early mergers kill it for everyone esle by creating more friction than needed.

It’s already been studied and proven. Use the merge lane until the end, then zipper.
Google an article about the zipper merge. Smart people say it’s actually the best way to go. I agree it’s annoying
Don’t be jealous. Just let them in...they are merging. They shouldn’t have to merge at the end of the line.
Honk them loud. Dont resist honking. Open car window and yell.
You can be ticketed for honking in non emergency situations

Bay area traffic is getting worse day by day... people drive crazy because they are getting late by 2 min for kids class. They dont understand the implications if someone is hurt even minor
Merging at the very end is the most efficient way of driving.
