My question is for anyone in a cloud career or a security career To keep it short: 1. Been in law enforcement for 10 years, currently 28 years old. 2. Am the go to tech guy at work 3. Over the current pay/public b.s/crappy admin 4. About to sit for my first AWS cert 5. Really interested in a security or a cloud career My questions are: Is college a must (not against it, just going to delay me) or would AWS certs and the like get me atleast an interview? Do you actually enjoy your job overall?

Cloud security and law enforcement are completely different. Try taking the GCP security courses on Coursera and see if you like it. Then take things from there.
Thanks for the advice! Was looking for a course to take after this AWS one. I know they are completely different but it's what I'm looking for.
Also take a basic coding course.
