Layoff and sign in bonus
I just got laid off. Will oracle try to take back the sign in bonus of 20k$? The contract mentioned I need to reimburse it if I leave in the first 18 months. Thanks

Don't worry about it. You did not leave. It was they who laid you off. If they ask you to return the money tell them exactly that.

I was in the same situation in the past. Don't worry about signon bonus, you will keep it. Take a couple of days break to get over it, and Focus on the next steps in your career. You will find a better opportunity soon. All the best!
