I saw two different posts on LinkedIn about folks being laid off from CloudKitchens, one of which happens to be from my recruiter. I’m interviewing with them soon, are things getting dire in the company? Should I be worried? #layoff #cloudkitchens
Toxic culture from Uber founder. Wouldn’t be surprised if they throw away people to hire cheaper
I just got an offer but it was a lower than I was expecting. The layoffs were likely non-eng teams since they’re still hiring engineers. I wouldn’t worry about what blinders say about the culture. Tanium culture also gets labeled as toxic by blinders but I honestly love it here (I was hoping to get a pay raise by moving companies but the pay increase wasn’t as much as I expected so I’ll likely stay). Honestly, Tanium culture is as good as my time at Google and Microsoft. FWIW, I’ve also seen blinders say cloud kitchens has high attrition but last year the attrition in engineering was under 2%, which makes sense given their back loaded vesting schedule.
Lol literally the same thing happened to me. I talked with the recruiter, she sends an email asking for my resume. The next day I respond to the email only to get a delivery failure notice. See recruiter on linked now has open to work badge. Brutal

Isn’t it called something else legally
City storage solutions (CSS). That only shows 26 employees on LinkedIn do it can't be right.
My recruiter’s email is bouncing too
friend said it's only the recruiting team. no engineers
That’s correct
I'm interviewing too...lol
Hmmm ATM interviewing for engineering role also
It always starts with recruiters. Engineers will be next on the chop block.
I too am interviewing with them. Strange if they are hiring and firing at the same time
Fire the high paying staff and hire for cheaper and younger.
no engineers are impacted as far as I know
