Looks like company wide layoffs are happening today. Did anyone get the news yet? What's the severance amount? #layoff #severance
That is highly insensitive to ask for severance details to someone who might be given the hard news of being laid off. Be better.

6 months severance is what i've heard from most impacted folks. Mostly targeted tech Scrum masters mainly and some devs/agile coaches.
6 months is pretty good I would say. I hope they get health insurance as well.

I was laid off and got no severance. Fidelity was the worst job I’ve ever had and I’ve been doing this (swe) for awhile. I bet they laid off less Indians than American although Indians 10 to 1 on my team outnumber Americans here.
