Hi folks, I'm going to have a leadership interview at Google, is there any documents that I can read to prepare myself?
Mgr?
Nope, L6
Is it for m1 or m2? Unfortunately there is not much information out for g leadership interview.
It's for a L6 position
Not sure if they do it for L6 - but they offer a quick video practice interview, which I found extremely useful. Ask your recruiter about it! And all the best :)
L6 is still an IC role right ?
Yes
It can be IC or manager
Also to help I think there are quite a few threads around L6 prep work , I will say based on what I read focusing a lot on design questions many be important . Did you get a breakdown of the number of interviews ?
I already did all the interviews, only the leadership one is missing
Ok sorry missed that . How were the interview if you don’t mind sharing . I assume in the leadership ones it’s mostly about some aspects of leading a team , managing conflicts , managing team expectations, tech leading a team
Please share your interview exp
Folks - I'm interviewing for a pre sale role so I'm not sure you are interested to my experience.
I might be wrong, most probably this is about your tech ledership. How you managed a project, defined success criteria. How you managed the time, under stress etc. For pre-sales focusing on technical win, making sure everyone understands use-case, success criteria and well defined outcome is key. This is just my guess.
