I have been given 2 weeks(1 sprint) to learn front end framework (react, vue or angular)for a project. I have very basic knowledge of HTML. Can someone suggest me some materials to learn it. Also if someone has tried this and learnt it properly please share your plan. TC : peanut YOE:2.8
Start small and build from there. If you look at like you are saying it will be overwhelming. What is the very basic thing you need to do? Then go from there. Angular documentation is awesome and easy to start. Make a demo site with the documentation and learn from that then build what you need to.
Hi, I'm leaving a comment here as a placeholder in case someone more experienced is not able to help you out. My unqualified advice would be to: 1 - Learn basic JS: since you already work on backend, this should be relatively fast. 2 - Learn Vue: this is a lightweight framework compared to the others. Ideally, spend about four days on task 1, pay attention to types and DOM manipulation. For task 2, build a sample project to get the most out of the experience. You could spend some time on CSS towards the end of the project.
This is for an interview or for work? Two weeks? lol
What level are you expected to get to in 2 weeks? Weird
TBH its depends on the project. If it is huge project and you have to mange state (Redux), build from scratch. It is very though. I would suggest start learning React it is very easy to learn and hard to master. And try build some sample project. You can do it just believe in your self.
This is a truly bizarre ask/requirement if it's for work. And it sounds like something tasked by the kind of boss who thinks the best employees are the ones in seats the longest all day or some idiotic crap like that. Framework before javascript working knowledge is silly. It doesn't answer a why question of any sort. A lot of people look down on JS and front end, but mastery of it is no joke. Daruchakna has it right: get a JS primer, learn vue, don't focus on everything, just focus on DOM manipulation.
