Joined Google 2 months back. Was lowballed because of lower TC in previous company. Should I leave asap for higher TC, or stick it out here for a year or two? YoE: 1.8 Work location: India
TC?
Total compensation
You must be new here. TC as in where is it?
At your YOE concentrate on learning rather than TC
Cliche.
You should decline to disclose your previous TC.
Doesn't work that way in India. Companies force you to.
Ask them the reason (they won’t have). Be a strong man. Be ready to walk away if they push.
You should leave ASAP because you don't seem to be a good fit for Google's culture.
Where does it say Google culture means working for lower than market TC? Give me a link.

What's your TC in Google in INR?
Can't disclose. I can be easily cornered by Google HR then. Google India is a small office.
I understand. Was it referral? and what skill set?
I would suggest to stick for an year. It would look good on resume and you would have time to learn at Google. Don't just run after TC.
Thanks. The first proper non judgmental reply for my question.
They are not. You are.
If TC is much higher then leave. What are the numbers ?
need to know the numbers to make a judge
