I'm starting at Google in Mountain View soon, and I've heard that there's some car rental benefit/deal, but can't find any details. I'm 22, so I'm especially interested in anything that makes renting a car below 25 more reasonable I'm living in Sunnyvale, so I guess I'm also curious in what the best car sharing options are here (is ZipCar good?)

Maybe, I haven't heard that term before and I see nothing about it from later than 2011. Does it still exist?
At some offices, there are pools of rental cars available for Googlers to check out for occasional errands. The cars generally need to be booked in advance.
