LeetCode code or AlgoExpert
Just about a year and a half in my iOS development career. Later on in life would love / is a dream of mine to work at a FANNG company or Uber, Stripe etc. For interview prep, not sure if I should go with AlgoExpert or LeetCode.
Leetcode has better community.

Leetcode + grokking are pretty good combo. AlgoExpert wasn’t that good last I checked. It’s been a while though
Stripe interview is orthogonal to leetcode. They interview engineers validated by someone else and check if they can actually code. Like dating married people.
Tried both, leetcode is waay better in every way. More actual problems you’ll see on interviews, a much bigger number of problems. The community with discussion of problems and solution in many different languages is awesome. There’s no debate. I think the only positive on Algoexpert is that you can multiple code editors for one problem, but that’s about it.
I like AlgoExpert more. It is a much smaller, curated list of questions with detailed video walkthroughs. It helps me more to learn the strategy and thought process behind approaching the problems. On Leetcode, I can look at example solutions, but it feels more like straight memorization and grinding…which sucks ass.
Yeah this is why I’m gearing more towards AlgoExpert because of the video walkthroughs
Leetcode has also added video walkthroughs for many problems now. Algoexpert doesn't describe the thought process. He just walks you through the same solutions that are already on Leetcode.
Leetcode is for grinding. AlgoE is for understanding. Your goal is to understand, not to hope you get lucky and match a LC you’ve previously done.
If Algoexpert is for understanding, he's failed pretty bad at it. Just throwing solutions in a video is not gonna lead to understanding.
People who voted for algo expert must be algo expert employees.
