I also bookmark suck kinda posts. Congrrats! Especially FB and Google ! Bravo !
Congrats OP!!! What was your leetcode approach? What resources you used for system design?
I did basically only easy questions to get my muscle memory down. Then I did randoms for a while before shifting to medium. Did a few hards between on-sites to fill in gaps. I did 1-3 leetcode a day, but not everyday. Made sure to take breaks when I felt burnt out!
For system design, I didn't prepare so much. I mostly lucked out in that a lot of the system design questions were in the areas I was working in.
u r great. I only feel comfortable with most medium questions after finishing 600 questions, and 3000 submission...
How is Qualtrics after acquisition? Anything good there? I heard that they match 3% for 401k (more than at amzn). A lot of microsoft folks there it seems. Any huge attrition there?
Definitely an uptick in people getting ready to leave. Comp is lower than before, especially if you don't have previous stock grants still vesting. I am leaving after a relatively short time for a reason, but the people are pretty cool in general.
How do you know that comp is lower than before? I heard there is more cash than before. Are you considering inflated RSU price you got after acquisition?
Good job! I solved 40 in 3 weeks. Leetcode every day. Half easy, half medium. Going to apply for jobs mid summer.
Jesus, 9 fucking months just to get a job in our field. That is what this has turned into... Sigh.
My first interview was in November or December I believe. But yeah
Ok 7 months. Still crazy
Please share your offers.
I have in a previous post. Some offers in the 225-250 range with two outliers in the 280 range and another two in the 170-190 range
Great, so which companies are you seriously considering?
Congrats OP. Where are you joining then?
Wow you got google offer with only 153 problems solved? Less than 1 problem per day? I’m more confident now..
That doesn’t mean that Google lowered the bar. Op might be good at solving these problems.
From OP: “Google asked questions I have never seen before, and I would say they're actually not that similar to leetcode. “ OP might have been born smarter than you.
