Guys I am looking for make a move from capital markets / management consulting to product management role. Appreciate any help I could get to prepare for Tech Product Manager interviews. What would you recommend @uber @google et al
I know you didn’t ask about Amazon :-( but if you were to consider a technical product manager role here, I would suggest to beef up on systems design and scalability. I found going over original white papers on dynamodb, scaling EC2 instances, or any other topic you like very helpful for a technical part of the interview.
I don’t have technical / Corning background. Coming from business analyst / Project manager and experience delivering complex projects.
Why Technical PM ? Coming from a MC background you'd be a better fit for normal pm roles.
Hitachi agree. Do you know which company should be ideal targets. Will FAANG be open to this or any suggestions.
I think FAANG might be more open if you are from MBB. Enterprise software might be a better fit
Product Management Exercises is the leetcode for product managers. It's a repository of product manager interview questions with option to have mock interviews.
Reading Cracking the pm interview and swipe to unlock got me offers at Facebook and Google from bcg
Thanks
