There are some 200 Google questions + 100 Facebook questions on LC. I'm considering getting a LC sub to check them out, the problem is that I have only 1.5 months to look into this. Currently I am looking at the 150 frequently asked interview questions on LC. To get into FB/Google, is it worth shifting focus to those only, or are they not very different from the 150 frequently asked questions?
I was intervied at google in nov 2016. Only 2 questions out of 5 are from leetcode. My suggestion would be to solve as many problems as possible. Dont go with company tag in leetcode. You may not get a direct question from lc but with practice u will definetly get grip over DS.
2 of 5 is very great, actually. Serious question: How do you deal with a question you’ve seen before in the interview?
Out of 2 questions, one was directly from leetcode. Other one was similar to the one from lc. For the direct question, i did tell the interviewer that i solved this question before. He asked me the approach which i told. Then he asked me to solve it with a diff approach with same complexity. I did
For me none of the questions from leetcode 😂😂
Oh you had your fb interview recently, right? How did it go?
Had a Google onsite, absolutely none from Leetcode. A couple were quite creative actually.
Some interviewers do ask tricky questions. My first round was like that. I was clueless and literally thoght interview is gone. I spent a good amount if 15-20 mins discussing about the problem and eventually found a solution :) Needless to say it increased my confidence by million times
