Left amazon in January this year because of PiP
Joined a much less known company. Applying for jobs now . What should i say as to why you left amazon to go to much less paying company and why are you looking to leave so soon ? Layoff or amazon team was getting toxic ? Obviously will not mention performance issue( which was manufactured by mf amazon manager btw ) hence left .
Just say non-conducive atmosphere (in a nice way)

Amazon has a pretty bad reputation (culture, WLB, working environment) within the tech industry. You could probably just say it wasn't a good fit for what you were looking for in a working environment and pretty much anyone would understand and not need more info.
Yup, this is the excuse I’ve been using in interviews. I’ve honestly had a solid experience here, but it’s a better excuse than “I want more money” lol

I say “it was a bad culture fit” and never had any problems. I was pipped as well.
Layoff! I feel you same happened Amazon is very toxic place and managers just hire and fire to complete there targets
Edit was in the team for 4 years at amazon . Manager changed and put me up for pip in 5 months. How do I justify leaving after 4 years
