Are there any company paying $300k+ without a lot of stress and have good WLB? I am very burnout at FB. Barely working these days and can get fired anytime soon. Currently E6 with 550k+ TC
Google, I'm also having a hard time working but I'm not at all afraid of being fired
Why so?
ibm
The good WLB is true the $LB part not so much
good wlb, Tc you can get up to $250k
Apple. Which team are you in?
Ads
Apple Services team has very good wlb I heard
Msft, but not Azure.
What about Microsoft Research?
What’s the most stressful part about being E6? High expectations?
How many hrs / week, you are putting up? Did you try to switch to different team
+1. Comp and wlb are both excellent. Unless you display very poor performance, you are unlikely to get fired.
In hiring freeze though?
Netflix has great WLB.
Is that very team specific?
That must be a joke.
Atlassian ... still hiring. Great culture and wlb
+1 Never worked there but all my friends at atlassian or their subsidiaries love it. From my friends stories, it’s one of the best employers for tech.
Yup. I think the only knocks are 1) comp and 2) products aren’t too interesting to me. But since op is looking to take a big pay cut for culture and wlb, atlassian is great. Stable as well Square is also another from what I’ve heard

Are you guys hiring? How is the interview difficulty?
Hiring freeze currently, though some roles are still hiring. I would say medium difficulty.
