What happens when most of your team is Indian?
Hello guys! I work in the product management field and it seems that I will receive 2 offers (as a contractor) from LexisNexis and PepsiCo. Both jobs pay exactly the same ($70 an hour) but the Pepsi one is contract to hire. The thing is that LexisNexis is a startup within the company and it is an interesting idea that I would love to work with, but with the market today it feels it is better to go with Contract to hire as I don’t know if it will be easy to find a job after the contract is over. I appreciate any insights from the community of which one could be better (opinions, cultures of the companies, WLB, etc.). Thanks a lot in advance! TC: 150k #lexisnexis #pepsico #offer
As a famous asshole once said: “do you want to keep selling soda water or come change the world”.
What would you do? 😂
Lexis Nexis. It’s a data company. I won’t work if the business is not technology
I would choose Pepsi
Thanks! Is it for the job security or u know ppl working there?
Because it’s a contract to hire position…I actually do know someone at coke who likes their job, not sure how Pepsi is but guess it’s similar. Also lexis kind of disturbs me with what they do with the info they have on people but that’s just my personal feeling, nothing actually wrong with it
Quick question: with 70$/hr wouldn’t you be making the same amount as your MSFT job? Also, you have to pay for insurance and 401k match/bonus will be non existent
Yes but my contract is ending
I would take up both and then moon light one. Try to keep up on both the jobs for 6-8 months.. Mint monies$$$
Can you legally do 2 full time jobs? I know someone doing it but not sure how he does it.
LN for job security
But Pepsi is the contract to hire
