Likelihood of getting f'd after breakingNDA

I've been reading leetcode, reddit and blind a lot these days. And I had found so much information. People are sharing an information that they shouldn't be sharing: questions they were asked, packages, the way they bluffed, lied on their resumes. But it shouldn't be so hard to figure them out, right? How many people were hired at Facebook this week? 50? 100? How many SDEs? How many at the level that was leaked in Blind / Glassdoor? Then we can easily look up what questions they were asked on their interview and that is it. You are deanonymized. I am not even talking about smaller companies like Twitter. But nobody is doing that. I have not seen a single topic that was named "I was fired because I broke NDA" or "my company is suing me for uploading interview questions". Why companies are not doing that? They can fire 5-10 unlucky workers and then the rest will be silent. Right? Yet we are here. Sharing private information that we shouldn't. Companies are actually losing money when they hire someone who just prepared by learning leetcode questions by heart (or are they?). The thing is... I had an interview yesterday. I want to share an information, what happened and it was going. This will be super-helpful for other people. But I understand how easy it is to figure out who is typing this message. I should have balls of steel to share that information and break a law (NDA) in altruistic move. Tell me what do you think? lol, NDA is not law so you won’t be breaking law. Unless you disclosed some confidential info like their IP. All questions you get are on leetcode 😆

oh wow seriuosly? what is the point of NDA then?

PayPal howsbout Feb 4, 2021

To scare you duh. You think they have time to chase after you for leaking a single question?

Nah, no company really cares. If you reveal some new product that they’re building that they discussed confidentially then maybe. But no one cares about LC questions, TC and all that.

NDAs are so expensive and time-consuming to enforce. The people who know actual important info are not here

We have over a thousand nooglers every week or two. And this is with the reduced hiring. Imagine how many more are being interviewed. And do you really want to work at a company that breathes down your neck like that and watch your every move? Think of the employee morale. Companies already log everything you do ok your corp laptops, but they don't ever look at it because it will hurt their image more than what they can gain from it.

NDA is not a law

If an interviewee finish a question suspiciously quick, bug free and optimal on first try, interviewer will ask a fallback anyway

Apple noogler21 Feb 4, 2021

Why? Why can’t the candidate be prepared and flawless. Why you have this ego problem as an interviewer?
