LinkedIn Intern Conversion?
Does anyone know how LinkedIn intern conversion to full time will work in the middle of a hiring freeze? I have a summer internship with them but I don’t know if I’ll have the opportunity to convert to full time given the economic climate. What do you guys think?
Just do your best, no company went through some events similar to covid19 so no prediction/history to refer to. At least you still have an internship to do

No idea, and i doubt if anyone can tell you that.
No timeline yet on when it’ll be lifted. Onboarding new employees remotely is very painful so I suspect it’ll last for a while.
Why is it painful?
I joined remotely and organizing training sessions, shipping out equipment and getting them ready for lots of new hires incurs a lot of churn. This is not the primary reason of course for the hiring freeze but definitely a factor.
