LinkedIn Staff Engineer —-> Apple
Staff Engineer in online data infrastructure org. Working on core large scale distributed systems. YOE 14 TC 380k I want to know if Apple can pay 400+ for ICT4 SWE. Also I was told that ICT4 band is very wide and very few teams can go 400+. Can someone from Apple tell me which teams can do this? Looking to work on core distributed systems/platform/Infra projects. Open to learning new technologies like ML/AI. Thanks for your time @Apple #apple #applecareer
You might want to aim for ICT5 if possible. If you do come in as ICT4, it will be harder to get a promo in a reasonable amount of time.
Thanks 🙏 There is a good chance that I can get down leveled to ICT4. I just want to know if even in that case can I touch 400k TC as ICT4 and what are the good teams which do distributed systems work at Apple? Thanks
Sure 400k is possible for ICT4 (although that would be pretty high for a starting offer). Even if it is not offered initially, it is possible to get to the 400k after a few refreshers. A lot of your initial offer will depends on interview performance and how badly the team wants you.
Also LinkedIn staff does not always map to ICT5 from levels.fyi. Unless the interviews go stellar the chances are less

I can. But want to make sure that even if I get down leveled I should be prepared.
