No. I've just always thought it was creepy but never heard any uproar about it. They are always trying to get into financial sector though
What’s on your profile is all up for grabs. All you need to do is set your profile to private and LinkedIn can’t use your data for any of their products .

It provides a user with a way to find you using any data that's on your profile whether you're connected or not. Through simple Boolean searches. It can even search for subject matter posts you've made.
