LinkedIn Team Matching Trauma
Hi, During internship, I cleared all the rounds and got canned during team matching. Had to intern at Amazon. Last week cleared all onsite rounds of LinkedIn for SWE however its been a week, they still haven’t found a team for me. is team matching that difficult at LinkedIn?
lol @“a week”. My team matching was months. On a serious note, just think logically, you need a HM to pick you out of all the candidates that passed interview, and the level matches what HM wants. So it’s a hit or miss depends on your skill set and your luck.
So there is a possibility that I won’t get an offer even after I cleared on site? That happened to me for internship. Which was devastating. I assumed in full time they wouldn’t do that to me.
It’s very likely that you will have an offer in the end because your interview result is valid for 1 year. How long does it take is a different story. There is always possibility of unwanted things that can happen, but it’s unlikely that Linkedin put time and resource in interviewing you and not giving you an offer when you passed
