I see a lot of posts here on LinkedIn cringe post. I am generally happy with my linkedIn as I pro actively clean and remove people liking or posting junk. But why are people looking for job posting this and other managers are finding it funny? How is this a professional social media platform?
The purpose of LinkedIn is cringe
CringeIn
I think that's a yubikey password lmao, when I worked at meta there was a whole internal channel dedicated to trolling people who accidentally tapped their yubikey while editing some text
Damn - great eyes!
At Amazon they call it a yubisneeze. Normally post gifs and meme on them before they can delete the post
Lol, have u used yubikey ? If not look it up before bashing others. It's an honest mistake and all due to that stupid yubikey
How does using yubikey create a LinkedIn post? Clearly there is human stupidity involved for this to happen
@cisco easy, when you tap the yubikey it emulates a keyboard and then pastes your key and hits enter. If your cursor is focused in the post text area and you hit it you’ll get the result above
We use yubikey for many operations but never seen this. How / when it happens?
If you touch it while in any text field, for example in a slack thread, it’ll populate this string of characters and also send the message
Not able to replicate. Tried on outlook, Gmail and teams. It doesn't even give a pop up for yubikey pin if I am not in an application which needs yubikey. Only when I am in an app which needs yubikey I get a pop up for pin and even then no text is copy pasted anywhere.

fellow European... how is sallary in meta Germany?
Bitte
Hey OP, it’s probably a cat or kid. Maybe both.
I had the same thought
How can engineers not recognise security keys OTP?
LinkedIn would be better changing to a dating platform.
Their founders started the company trying to build a dating platform but switched to this
I’ve received enough dating suggestions on LinkedIn already!
We went passwordless. Yubi key sucks
Did we though? Still have to use it for ssh. And I can’t stand having to hit that continue button on the Touch ID dialog every time
Why do yubikeys suck exactly? I have personal ones and they are great.
Yubikey ... if it's from Shopify it's an internal joke about the last layoff wave. People bashed the comments section of the town hall with the CEO with yubikey
Haha wow
That's wild 😁
You’re complaining about professionalism on a platform that has the golden rule of TC or GTFO
Yeah, but here we're anonymous so I dont mind people sharing whatever the want. But linkedin was supposed to be a professional platform for helping people connect and get a jobs. Not to show that you don't have any life. For that we have blind.
Here we are anonymous. That's the main reason why one should post their TC
