Does LinkedIn really ask these questions in interviews? They look like total ass cancer https://leetcode.com/problems/kth-smallest-product-of-two-sorted-arrays/description/ https://leetcode.com/problems/max-points-on-a-line/description/
We do ask some ridiculous questions. Sorry.
Hey, Can I get a referral at LinkedIn. SWE with 1 YOE at crypto exchange.
Linkedin literally asks you those questions verbatim. Easiest of FANG+ interviews to crack imo…just do their tagged questions which are a handful relatively
Maybe easiest if you’re dumb and have to pass interviews by memorizing stuff
Yeah they don’t have smart LP questions …sorry
I have asked both questions in interviews.
By choice? Why? Are you just testing if people have looked up questions before interview
There ya go…it’s not ideal but linkedin and Facebook pretty much test your memorization skills
Are the problems even possible to solve if you’ve never seen them before? Like in an interview setting.
No. And it sucks when I see other interviewers asked such questions then failed the candidate.
Not in the allotted 40 minutes it's not. It's a game of memorization unfortunately.
Honestly, just go through top 50 questions (sort by 6 months frequency) you should be good. And yes, you better memorize them, otherwise it is too much time consuming during real interview.
I never took an interview but have given many recently 😂. So, I can't say. That said, why take the risk it is only 50 questions. With LinkedIn I asked three of my friends who got the questions from those 50.
@Twitter unfortunately even if I do, other people will fail you. Just 1 person can make you a no hire.
I have been asked both in same round
The LC tagged ones are enough ? The ones in the last 6 months or all time ? Does LinkedIn ask DP questions?
Yeah LC tagged with LinkedIn sorted with 6 months frequency is enough. But do them effectively like go through everything edge cases, or follow up stuff everything!!
Thank you !
yes
Lol, do they care about handling floating point imprecision for the line one? I might just walk out my on-site if I get one of these. Probably just crabby
Depends on the butthole interviewing honestly. The process is a joke and depending on their perception on what is important you can still get screwed over for no reason. full disclosure I am crabby :)
