What are the levels of engineers and managers in LinkedIn and how they map to each other?
Swe Senior swe Staff swe/Engg manager Sr staff/Sr Manager Principal staff/Director Distinguished/Sr director Technical fellow Note that the strict 1:1 level mapping applies only between staff and engg manager. For levels above that, I've seen folks being upleveled/down levelled when transitioning between tracks, so it's not very 1:1.
also after Staff the engineering side gets paid more..
Intern, intermediate/apprentice SWE, SWE,Senior SWE, Staff SWE, SEnior Staff, Principal, Senior Principal. Leadership is manager, senior manager, director, senior director, VP, Senior VP (basically our cto) then the man himself Jeff Weiner.
There is no sr principal. After principal it's distinguished, and then fellow.
Is there anyone at the fellow level?

Anywhere from 300k to 600k. Depends on interview performance, competing offers, and how bad they want you.
300 is low for external hire.. atleast 350k.. if you have competing offers then it will go crazy.
Is that TC or base?
