I got the schedule for LinkedIn onsite but only four rounds are scheduled and the mail mentions that the HM round will be scheduled at some later date and time. What does this mean? Could it be because the HM might not be available for that day or could be some other reason?? #linkedininterview

The other possibility that I am thinking of is the HM round will be scheduled based on the other 4 rounds feedback if they think I can get an offer. Could this be one of the reasons?

The HM round is not generally done by the person whose team you ll land on. That is because team matching happens after the interviews at LinkedIn. Probably they didn’t find even a single Manager (in the same org) whose schedule was free.

I was also concerned about interviewing for senior at 5 yoe. Turns out LinkedIn senior is same as Google L4. Not to worry
