The deadline to sign the offer for Apple is tomorrow and I am seriously torn about what to pick given I just found out yesterday that LinkedIn is extending me an offer. Obviously Apple seems like the place to be for iOS, but it’s hard to ignore the insanely good perks and WLB LinkedIn has to offer. I also haven’t gotten numbers from LI yet, but I am looking at this from the perspective that they are about the same as Apple. I currently live in San Diego and my gf lives in LA. We are ok with commuting right now on the weekends but I think in a year or 2 we will want to move in together so the remote option at LI is also really attractive. If anyone at (or previously at) either of these companies could give me some insight that would be awesome. Thanks! LinkedIn for remote. Both look good for future opps
How long did it take to receive the LinkedIn offer ? I’ve been waiting for a while for the same position as you
LinkedIn should be able to beat your Apple offer
Congrats OP! Let us know which one you end up going with. Also can I DM you about your LinkedIn interview please?
Many people would take LinkedIn and Airbnb over Amazon/Apple. Also LinkedIn is part of Microsoft which is part of one of those acronyms.
Fyi Apple has refreshers, LinkedIn don't. So, I personally prefer apple.
With 2 yoe, you’ll learn more and strengthen your resume with Apple
