This is great that its getting visibility and I applied to a couple but why does everyone flock to this guy. I just dont understand why people treat him like a God of PM

Good idea by him posting that. I'm sure it's hard for unemployed people to find listings, and you can maybe add some vetting that if someone is posting a PM role in that thread, it can't be that bad of product culture. At the same time, it seems like 99% of the comments are people who aren't even PMs or have random buzzwords like 'Agile' or 'Scrum' or some bullshit in their linkedin titles, so the HMs probably have ALOT of noise to go through to find candidates.
I was previously unemployed/laidoff and wish I came across posts like these earlier. The replies 1) have strong hiring intent (urgency and availability of the role), 2) provide a direct contact/HM for a warm or hot lead. IMO these are 100x better than cold applying to LinkedIn job postings
totally agree. feel like only way to get a job rn is outreach from a recruiter or a referral who can put you in touch with hm for a role
