They go on and write these long paragraph posts about recruiting and advice to candidates but will still ghost you after 4 rounds of interviews if you’re not the one lmfao
That’s just social media etiquette. You just pretend infront of 100s or thousands of people and bounce. E.g: remember the outrage leftists had about racism last year? Now they are went back to living their white privileged lives. They’ll show up at times to showcase selective outrage. LinkedIn recruiters are far better, imho.
I thought about calling one of them out under a bullshit post about valuing candidates etc... I did not feel valued the time she ghosted me after a phone interview. Then I thought, do I really want to get in an endless arguement with a 85 iq? And potentially their recruifluecer friends. Took a deep breath and went back to work
Definitely it’s not worth it, good on u for the self restraint
Someone told me the reason they do this is so they can appear in many other people timelines. It’s all an act, which social media really is
And of course they have to space out the post as much as they can, so that users hit “See More” when they see it in their feed. How else will they get curious LinkedIn folks to interact with their posts? They need to get their LinkedIn engagement up to market their resume writing and career development courses at the very end of the post. Agree?
The key thing to understand is that everyone on social media is a moron. Including us
LinkedIn has devolved into Facebook circa 2014, 2015
What is expectation after 4 rounds? I can’t imagine how they will keep chatting with declined candidates in addition to continuing sourcing new hoT leads
A simple rejection email if they aren’t the candidate they’re looking for
