LinkedIn vs Robinhood vs Uber
I’m considering these offers and will appreciate any insights. 2 YOE LinkedIn Senior SWE (same as L4 at Google) TC 285k @ Bay Area Robinhood L2 TC 310k @ Bay Area Uber L4 TC 300k @ Seattle Did some research on the stock refreshers. It seems LinkedIn grants refreshers to top performants only. No stock refreshers at Robinhood for now. Uber does grant stock refreshers but recruiters didn’t give a concrete number. Also got offers from Dropbox, Microsoft and Amazon. But got down leveled / didn’t like the team match so I will skip.

200k base 400k stock over 4 years 50k sign on
Nice, better base and stock than my offer and I negotiated pretty hard. Maybe it’s because I’m not in Bay Area.

Refresh is not bad at Uber, on par with Google, less than fb and Airbnb. I’ll vote Uber. stock is low, expect to at least 2x the moment we become profitable

Few things about LinkedIn. No yearly refreshes, it's very rare. Promotions to staff take a while especially in certain teams. Cliffs r horrible
