I’m thinking to buy a single family in Monroe, Wa. That’s the only place affordable in Seattle area now. Wanted to get feedback about the area
I hope you like Mexicans and gun toting rednecks
We are residing here. With hybrid it should be fine. People talk about travel a lot. If one stays in Bothell(98021), the commute from Redmond to Monroe is only 14 mins more than the commute from Redmond to Bothell. Reason for Bothell comparison is because house prices in Bothell is very high. The community here is good.
Wait until normal traffic resumes and the tell me it's only 14 more minutes
True, I still think it wouldn’t be that much of a difference between Mill Creek and Monroe. Mill Creek’s houses are also sky rocketing. And my house is closer to the highway. Highway is 3 mins away.
What about school out there? Good 👍 or bad?
Looks like there is a new community with good schools. 7-5-7. But the school district rating is not great
^ Elementary and high schools are 7 while middle school is 5
Yea
So Canada?
There is a prison there
OP, you can live in a Monroe rent free, just do some crimes!
Bidding is crazy than you think. There were 3 homes listed in one of the Mainvue community and had total of 24 offers. Sold for more than 20-25% of list price.
Oh wow. How about the dr Horton community there? Monroe woodlands
Looking at the prices now when compared to last year is insane. Avg list price last year around July was around 400’s now it’s in 800’s. still better as the same homes in Bothell are selling for over 1.2m Have you checked lake stevens? I heard great schools and lot of construction happening there
Three words: very far away
Very far 10 years ago .. people wants live Microsoft campus .. now not that’s the case .. but traffic sucks
