Asians - what are your thoughts on asian female white male ?
Just received an offer from Lockheed Martin (Colorado). Position: Electronics Engineer (L2) Salary: 90.3k Relo: 5k Permanent full time with benefits. Coming from the private sector with 5YOE in different industry, position will eventually require a clearance.. Hold a BSEE from ABET school. Is this a reasonable entry for Lockheed Martin where I can work myself higher up later? I know just getting in is important. TL;DR lowball offer or decent? All input appreciated! Thanks!! #lockheedmartin #boeing #raytheon #generaldynamics #tc #offer #compensation #negotiation Also inb4 TC or GTFO: TC: 77k LCOL area (Midwest)
5 yoe at LM should be at least a E3, so definitely low balling you. To put things in perspective, a E2 is just above an intern.
Well shit.. The job title says “Early Career” and calls for 2-5 YOE so I just barely make the cut? Lol ugh
Honestly pay delta between a 2 and 3 isn’t huge. If you need money and a job today then take the position and keep applying elsewhere and leave.
No bonus or RSU
Actually yes bonus. No RSU 😔
Colorado has a higher cost of living than you think
This is true. And houses in the area are near 500k.. Yeah. Pretty ridiculous.
If it’s Denver, then bless your soul
Lol
Glad you got a laugh? Lol
Sorry- all seriousness I would be reticent to make a lateral jump with the uncertainty of the markets surrounding COV. LIFO is commonly the practice for RIFs
