Hi all, Transitioning from the army to the civilian sector. Looking to keep my clearance somewhere in the defense sector/contracting world or consultings firms such as Booz Allen Hamilton. Bachelors is in EE and I’ve been taking coding classes throughout my time in the military - would love to pivot to a technical role. I would greatly appreciate any referrals to one of these companies to help me get my foot in the door. Thanks for your time

Do you have a clearance? Depending on location, they should all be super interested in you. I didn't have any referrals, but I still interviewed and got offers at Northrop, Lockheed, Booz, and Raytheon
I do - what were the interviews like for you? And what locations if you don’t mind sharing.
Interviews were super easy. Introductions, a few behavioral questions, and discussions about technologies I’ve worked with or projects I’ve built I interviewed with those companies for roles in Denver. Lots of options around the country, but Denver, Colorado Springs, SF, and DC seem to be hotspots. Just my $0.02
Be sure and have a look at KBR and well as the jobs listed on clearancejobs.com. Also, Microsoft, Amazon and Google (and I am sure other tech companies) have federal groups that pay a premium for your security clearance.
Why KBR specifically? I have looked a decent bit on clearance jobs but not bites so far
KBR has a lot of government jobs (and has a military to civilian program). Leidos has a lot of jobs too
