Tell them you know how to correctly pronounce people's names!! You will automatically be in the top 1%!! Bonus if you can pronounce south asian names. 😂

I’m in a different field, but I also get a 5% bonus, and $4k/year stock. Not a big difference, but hope that helps. I’m also remote. I don’t think it’s any secret, but Sbux doesn’t have the best pay but the culture and WLB are super chill. It’s the type of place you can be yourself and work for 20 years if you want, which I think is worth something. I was personally shocked by how many 20 year vets there are here

Seems about par. Is it a remote position or hybrid?

Its a hybrid position for Seattle Office

Awesome, congrats. They really cut back on the # of open (currently hiring) roles the last couple months, so that's a tough job to land at the moment.

That’s right about the highest they will pay for senior atm. Highest paid senior in the company is 172-174k base iirc. They won’t hire external people above 155 I don’t believe for senior role. Have some deets if you want to dm me. Went through this recently. Overall Starbucks is what you make of it, it’s WLB is probably the biggest benefit. You won’t meet incredible engineers here so it is what you make it. If you’re good you’ll have free time to do w.e you want
