Looking for opportunities
Got laid off by Uber as part of it's layoffs this week. 4 years of experience working in business strategy and operations in Uber rides and Uber eats. Currently in USA on an L1 visa and hence have to leave the country for lack of a better visa option Looking for opportunities in Canada, EMEA, India especially with firms where I can possibly move back to USA on an L1 visa (wife works here in USA and currently can't transfer onto her visa) Would be great if you could give any suggestions, etc Other details - graduated from the top tier MBA and engineering colleges in India
That sucks. I'm very sorry OP. The only option is to go back? Is there anything else you could do? I'd recommend to reach out to an immigration attorney if you haven't done yet
Why can't you transfer to dependent visa of wife
She is on F1 OPT. No point staying here and not working. We've decided it's okay to stay apart for a while but still be earning
Assuming wife is on L1 as well. If wife on h1 then you need i140 to get work permit.
