Asians - what are your thoughts on asian female white male ?
I am on the job market & thought I would throw this out here. Tableau has a been a great place to work and learn, but it's unrecognizable today compared to the company I joined many years ago, and the way the recent layoffs were handled by Salesforce was pretty distasteful. I'm a full-stack developer; built web front end visualization features and also a back-end microservice that handled building a graph database and offering up a GraphQL API. I've also served as scrum master for multiple teams. A great fit for me would to help spin up a new team of engineers & get everyone on the same page & shipping regularly and efficiently, but also to contribute significantly on the technical side. I'm interested in agile workflows & shipping high-quality software. This pandemic is terrible but maybe the sole silver lining is that a lot of jobs are remote now, and that opens up a lot of interesting possibilities that I hadn't considered before due to the commute. I'd love a role that could stay remote at least semi-permanently. Difficulty: Will not consider Facebook, and avoiding Amazon and Microsoft for now. YOE: 19 (oof) TC: $3xxK? (It's fluctuated a lot lately with the stock market volatility, frankly I'm afraid to look) DM me if interested.
You might want to check with Splunk. I know for a fact there is a need for expertise in the front end and visualization space
DM me for a role.
