Los Angeles, San Diego, or San Francisco?

I have to choose between the three cities for a new job soon (verbal offers right now so TC TBD, current 🥜) and I was wondering which would be best for a guy in his early/mid 20s, or just in general. Looking for a fresh start so making new friends outside work would be important. LA would be in Santa Monica, SF office would be downtown, and SD office would be north of downtown. LA seems like the most fun, SF might be the best career move, and SD is the cleanest. #losangeles #sanfrancisco #sandiego

I went to college in San Diego, I think the weather is great, the people are fun and I would move there in an instant if the right job popped up.

San Diego for sure. LA is more expensive but never to San Francisco

As much as I deadly want to be in LA, the future opportunities in SF and Silicon valley are much better. In my experience, SD is slightly isolated city though they have good companies there. Mid 20s in LA are the best

Why would anyone want to be in LA right now?

It’s beautiful here Anybody who doesn’t agree is just bitter about the cost and/or traffic Nobody can’t beat this weather except maybe San Diego

SD and it’s not even close

San Diego is the best city, SF is best for career. LA has its charms but the grime and homelessness is out of control and has surpassed even SF in my experience

But not Santa Monica. SM is fairly low on homeless, especially compared to SF down town.

Santa Monica is especially bad

been to SF, LA and SD and I gotta say SD is by far my favorite. LA has too many people and it just feels crappy to be in, SF has too many people in too small a space, SD was a nice middle ground

SD is the place

I think LA is good if you’re young. Have a lot of places to go to for good food, multi-cultural. Lots of bars and young people to meet. Lots of great areas to drive to around LA that doesn’t cost too much.

ive lived in LA since 2017 and i'd recommend going to SD. you get the same california sunshine and beaches plus the city is cleaner and easier to get around, LA is massive and rent is super expensive in Santa monica. making new friends in LA is hard and imo its easier to find more genuine people in SD.
