Lost 10 percent of my NW yesterday...um is this normal lol. Ive lost over ten percent three times in the last year.
Yeah it’s normal.
If you don’t want that volatility downward don’t expect it upward
Did you invest in AMC? Don’t worry market was sort of down today🤷🏻♂️
Sorry to hear. Damn Amazon, I lost almost 50% in 2 weeks
Damn is this crypto? I've probably lost about 40 percent this year, but probs would of been closer to 60 percent if I didn't sell my crypto early
Timing is everything
You loose when you sell. Did you sell ? It’s very common for high beta stocks to move in double digit
I closed/sold some of them. I also short some stocks and feel really uncomfortable holding them at say a 30 percent loss given potential to keep growing.
I have lost more than 50% in a day. 10% doesn't even counts for me.
Leveraged day trading? I do quite a bit of that as well, not sure how else you would lose that much
Yep. Leveraged crypto 😅
Which stock or stocks did you lose on?
Lots. But my biggest positions are square, vips, Peleton, pinduoduo. My shorts did poorly overall as well. I only use about 20 percent leverage now
As long as you don't lose 10% or more each day for 10 days in a row you should be good. 😷
Not how exponentials work
The simple answer is to stop buying bandwagon meme stocks.
Don't count crypto as your nw lol
Funny thing is I sold all my crypto in jan-feb. This is all stocks
At least you lost less on the switch
