Low TC/Salaries at Gap inc in SF. Are titles/positions super inflated here? Worth interviewing? Yes or no?
Recently interviewed for Sr.Director role at Gap inc in SF and got badly low balled @ TC < 300k for sr.director role? TC is close to some of the sr. Engineer roles in SF. How is the work culture? Looking for place when I can make a decent impact than bad politics. Current tc. ~300k

note that walmart is probably on high end of salaries for retail companies.
You cannot compare gap salaries to other tech companies. The titles are a little inflated too.300k is pretty normal for senior director at gap
