Low pressure jobs?

I think I am burnt out. I have no motivation left. I took a downlevel last year when I joined Meta thinking change would energize me but I have lost all motivation after we had kids. Wife quit her job to be a stay at home mom, so we are down to single income. Our net worth is also bad, roughly 600K combined. I know I have too many things to worry about which should keep me motivated but still. I feel like I need a low pressure job where I am not constantly worried about if what I am doing is enough to avoid PIP. The reason why it feels really strange is that I dont mind working 50hrs/week its just the stress of PIP that eats me up. I am thinking of applying to: - Walmart - Datadog - Salesforce? (Heard things are bad ) - MongoDB - Hubspot (they wont call me if someone could refer please) - Google (waiting for team match, plus I dont think I believe WLB is good there. I have worked at other big techs but imho its almost same everywhere) I dont know mind fog, please suggest low pressure stable companies to work for. YOE-8 #tech

Use to work there. Was literally about to post this. See if you can get into some Rally teams if you want good culture/coworkers if they didnā€™t already kill Rally off

How do you get government jobs?

ServiceNow pelwkkwksk May 23, 2023

ServiceNow. Most people I work with do bare minimum. Easy to stand out by just doing a bit over bare minimum.

GM was so chill. Iā€™d get in at 8am and leave at 4pm everyday basically. With an hour lunch. Night releases sucked, but were rare enough that it didnā€™t matter. I never would have left if I didnā€™t need to move to NYC for health reasons.

Keep your job, see a therapist, and go on lexapro. Kids will wreck your mental health, and youā€™re still learning how to balance everything.

Lexapro bad

Any pill should be avoided so that there's no dependency on it
