Anyone worked here recently (esp. since they got a new CEO)? Am evaluating taking an offer — culture and pay seems good, and according to them the company is doing well. Curious if anyone has any inside info here.
According to them. Lol. Dont do it. They sont value engineers. Youre basically IT to management. In a recession you are seen as a bloated cost and your job is likely on the line
There haven’t been layoffs since Covid started so I don’t understand how engineers’ jobs are “likely on the line”. My opinion, product leadership isn’t great. That ends up having an effect on Eng down the line. However - yes, culture and pay are good. People are good. New CEO has, and will almost definitely in the future, introduce change. The next 6-12 months will be interesting.
Are you still with Ezcarter? How is it doing now in terms of culture and growth? What are the engineering levels there and how do you equate a staff level there to some of the FAANG companies?
