So I use Github Copilot for my side projects and barely use Google since I can just ask ChatGPT at this point. It became really hard to feel productive at work since I was not being able to use 2 tools that make me feel like I am getting soaring through my work. I was very frustrated and angry for a while until I decided it just wasn't fair to force us to be slow. I still google company code on StackOverflow, why is ChatGPT any different?? So I looked into it and found a solution (for now). Companies can generally track you via: 1. Outgoing messages since you are in VPN 2. Checking for "Sign up" emails on your inbox 3. And they are really intense even keystrokes I figured out that using a google chrome plugin that makes calls from their backend solves all these issues. I found Mano(https://www.joinmano.ai/) is way better than Monica and Merlin. 1. They submit requests from their backend so there is no way for your company to know that ChatGPT is being called. 2. There don't keep an open tab. You open it with a shortcut so even if your manager looks at at your screen they won't see a tab with an OpenAI logo. You don't have to keep minimizing it or closing it. 3. There is no email sign in so nothing is recorded in your outlook. After figuring this out I feel soooo much better at work and am no longer affraid I'm going to get fired. Do you see any issues with this? I don't really work on shit that would "leak IP" so I don't see an issue. #chatgpt #openai #blockedsoftware #gpt4 TC: 254
