What up blind. Im getting an offer from Lyft, and wanted to get some opinions on the company. What is your sentiment about the company? Any opinions on them? SWE TC. 320k

Is level 5 still relevant? Uber dumped their sdc unit. Lyft always copies Uber. So.....
Level 5 is a deadend. The tech is way behind. It's sad.
Jus a matter of time before they die out. The taxi industry will never be the same as before the pandemic. Uber has better chances of survival because it has uber eats which is showing good growth.
I doubt that, do you think people will stop using taxis after pandemic is over? Why so? Self driving taxis may change the scene, but that's still few years out at best.
People have become more cautious about sharing space, fearing they will contract the disease, they prefer their own car instead.
Whats the breakdown for the tc
Lyft < Uber from investment angle to me. Not sure about work there. Anything not good at GOOGL?

Lyft has a bright future. They’re partnering with Aptiv and Hyundai on deliver driverless Lyft options. They’ve successfully demonstrated at CES. Please look up online. Aptiv stocks are rising, so definitely a good strategic partner. Next 5-10 years definitely feel you’re in good place. Question- what are you doing that you’re getting paid $320k and how can I do that?
Omg please don’t think they can compete in self driving tech. At most they have driver demand to tap into.
Driverless anything is such a meme. Always looks good in a restricted demo environment and shits the bed in the real world. Currently it's way too reliant on others acting in good faith and following the rules to a T. The military's been throwing money at it for decades using tech way better than the commercial stuff and they still haven't gotten to a point where they can field anything fully self-driving that isn't designed to crash and blow itself up.
Awesome company. Very good compensation. High stakes right now due to covid related issues, but I feel confident we are going to overcome this phase.
I have an offer from Uber in its rides business. Any thoughts on whether both companies will do well in rides?? Or do u see more layoffs
Don't see ridesharing will see a layoff round like what happened mid last year.
