I'm at the offer stage and looking to get some understanding of the bands for L6 PM at Lyft. The role is more like a product lead role - reports directly into head of product with direct visibility to the C-suite execs. So I'm going to push for L6. What is a good comp to negotiate? I'm thinking 200-220K base + 200-220K in stocks + sign on 50-75k. So yearly TC in the 400-420k range. Thoughts and tips? Yoe - 8+ as PM #lyft #pm #lyftcompensation #lyftoffer #lyftsalary #lyftstock #lyftcareers #product #productmanager #salarynegotiation #salary #tech
You just lost all of your negotiation power. The recruiter just probably ready this post and knows what offer will make you happy.
From what I know it's a completely different team to negotiate though. Thanks for trolling.
You want to try for > = $500.
Wow! Can you perhaps give me a breakdown? 250k base and stocks?
I am a T5 and my base is 205 and RSU is 210 and I got a sign on but that's just for year 1. I've heard T6s getting 1mil 4 year grants so you can definitely ask for > 250k rsus.
Aim for 500k TC. Don’t get stuck on salary. do 175 cash and rest in RSUs.
Thanks!
is lyft still offering 4 year stock grants ?
Sounds good/low.
Thanks for the reply. What would be a good band then?
I’d aim for 220 base and 250 stock. Should be doable for L6.
