Why doesn’t Uber buy Lyft? Lyfts market cap is now sub $4b. Easy acquisition target.
Don’t need to considering they’re really the only two players in the market. Plus the acquisition would get blocked anyway
Exactly. Right now they can be better without being called a monopoly. People won’t hate them because lyft is always the one to be hated. If lyft is acquired by uber then they can’t blame competition for raising prices etc.
If both are losing money, why would it make sense ?
So you could push up prices without worrying about competition and stop losing money
And be a monopoly. I would think that’s illegal
Relative to Ubers ability to raise capital yes.
Will be blocked by government!
def blocked on monopoly concerns reason why google let bing exist
Makes more sense for Walmart to acquire lyft. And Uber can’t because of monopoly risk.
Even more sense for Amazon to acquire Lyft and hand it over to Zoox
Why they are already winning?
What exactly are they acquiring?
